Its important to always put yourself in other people’s shoes. Especially when they suck it up and constantly do it for you. Sometimes the only way to understand how someone feels is not by listening to what they say, but by asking yourself, “how would I feel?”. Don’t praise yourself for being selfless when really all you’ve done is be polite.
